Kenny and Queen coaching clinic

Ladies European Tour Professionals, Clare Queen and Lynn Kenny, gave a coaching clinic to eight lucky children from clubgolf Stage 1 programmes at Bishopbriggs, Helensburgh, Kirkintilloch Golf Club during the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open.

“The coaching clinic was a great opportunity for children involved in local clubgolf Stage 1 programmes to meet two of Scotland’s rising Ladies European Tour Stars and get some one-to-one tuition,” said Colin Bell, clubgolf Regional Manager for Argyll & Dumbartonshire.

“The children also had the experience of hitting on a Tour event practice ground alongside players from the main event. The new practice ground area at The Carrick is a great facility too with an island green that kept the kids entertained.

“clubgolf would like to thank the organizers, WSM, for helping to coordinate the clinic and especially to both Clare and Lynn for giving their time to coach and making the clinic so much fun for the young clubgolf players.”
